Akoma Unity Vermi Center Composting and Greenhouse Project

Akoma Unity Center is scholar and community focused. This vermi composting and greenhouse project is completely centered around community engagement, education and collaboration. The community gardens of Akoma are open to all scholars in the City of San Bernardino Unified School District and their parents. In its current use, the gardens have been utilized to help feed our scholars and their families and provide a therapeutic way to center themselves and connect with the earth.
